Say What?!, French Concession

I scheduled this post for a Monday as I’ll still be in Beijing and thus unable to post and also because I thought you may all need a full week to digest and interpret exactly what these Chinese people are trying to say with their t-shirts. So here is the first one:

“SEEK THE NOVELTY
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Hip cities on the cutting edge of
new cultural trends
fashionable and happening city.

Novelty always appears handsome.
aggressive company with new ideas
I easily get absorbed in what I’m interested.

Zest is the secret of all beauty.
There is no beauty that is
attractive without zest!

On the cutting edge of fashion

And now **deep breath** here is number two:

I don’t know what to say, I don’t even know where to start. I mean, you could interpret that symbol a few different ways, but there’s not really a way to spin it that would make me feel comfortable…

Best Dressed Generation:
Gen X: 45 points
Gen Y: 25 – 5 (for not understanding novelty or her own t-shirt) – 10 (for whatever that guy is doing to those poor boys) = 10 points
Gen Z: 0 points
